These photos are the baby blanket knit by Hilary Kaufman using the beautiful Universal's Uptown Sport yarn.

This is the afghan Carol Sigrist knit for her grandson Bradley who is getting married Thanksgiving weekend.  Carol used 9 skeins of the beautiful Berroco Ultra Alpaca Tonals yarn.  She adapted her pattern from the Cables and Lace blanket in the book 60 Quick Knits for Babys.  This is a stunning wedding gift!  Congrats to Bradley and his bride-to-be.

Great American Afghan done by
Ellen Sweat!  She's been knitting
only about 2 years!  It took her 1

This was knit by our own Carol Sigrist.
The pattern is from the current issue of
Creative Knitting magazine and is called
Fleas and Bees.  She used 7 skeins of
Cascade 220.

My knitting friends at the Yarn Garden,
I finished the 25th square in January and put it together in February while on a Women's retreat.  I can't believe it is finally finished.  I learned so much making this afghan.  Thank you for inspiring me to do this.

She designed her own Holiday Throw.  Judy is also wearing a pullover sweater from the book Family Knits by Classic Elite Yarns and she used Cotton Sierra yarn.

Kelly Truitt Wright has been crocheting for her new baby, London Elizabeth, who will be born on Jan. 14, 2009. Thanks for sharing your creations with us.

Deborah Hawes bought the yarn to make the first of 4 afghans from our "sale" room and was so thrilled with it she ordered the yarn to make 3 more afghans, one for each of her children, Rachel, Damien, and Kevin for Christmas gifts.  Mountain Colors custom hand dyed the Homespun yarn of a wool / silk blend for Deborah.  She used a pattern from the book Quick Knits, Cool Projects which uses a double moss stitch and I cord edging.  Deborah purchased the Ewesful Fiber Wash to care for the treasures.  All 4 afghans are sure to be family heirlooms.

Thanks Deborah for sharing you creations with us.
