Knitting Step 2
This is a two week class that is designed to take a beginning knit to the level of understanding and execution of stitch recognition, cables, lace, increases, and decreases, correcting errors, reading directions.

Basic Socks 4 Hours Prerequisite: learn to Knit, Beyond Knit to Purl and Round Knitting Classes or Equivalent Skill Level Knitting a pair of socks is fun and addictive. This is a 4 hour class to learn the basic construction of a sock, by knitting a baby sock, using double point needles. Go from cuff to turning a heel, making a gussett, shaping a toe and grafting. - Basic Anatomy of a Sock
- Knit each section ~ Cuff, Leg, Heel Flap, Turn Heel, Shape gusset, Foot, & Toe
- Picking Up Stitches
- Decreases: K2tog and SSK
- Finish with Kitchener Stitch

Baby Booties #1 Prerequisite: Basic Sock or Equivalent Skill Level You will Learn: Welting Eyelets Increase Decrease Picking Up

Cable Baby Blanket
A small blanket approximately 20x 24 inches to cover baby in a carrier. Student will learn seed stitch and cables and how to read a scematic.

Multi-Directional Triangle Scarf Prerequisite: Knit stitch You will learn: Picking up Stitches Increase and Decrease

Basic Sweater Construction Basic sweater construction will be a 3 session class in which the student will knit a sweater. We suggest a mini sweater in which the students will learn all the basic steps applicable to all basic sweater construction including guaging, pattern reading, seaming, 3 needle bind-off,blocking and finishing.
